Sporting Events
We have sponsored sporting events throughout the island for over 15 years, including the Xterra Triathlon, Cycle to the Sun, the Maui Marathon, the Aloha Classic and several others. We love to work with athletes as it fuels our inspiration for working detailed injury. Look for us at local events and feel free to request us if you are a serious athlete with more discerning needs in the massage arena as we have made sports our focus for nearly two decades.
Since Massage Maui adopted Valley Isle Day Spa in November of 2013, we have shifted focus out of nails,tanning and waxing onto the massage, yoga and spa treatment aspects of the spa industry. Tiffany Powell worked at Massage Maui before she began Valley Isle Day Spa and was a part of our original focus on really good massage. This is our real core offering in the community and to Maui visitors as a whole. We have specialized in athletes for over a decade now and welcome some of the world's top athletes. Sportsmen from around the world in international competitions such as the Tour de France, the Olympics, Iron Man, Xterra Triathlon and surfers of the world-renowned Jaws big wave here on the island of Maui have chosen us because,well, we are just plain great massage therapists. So we are happy to remind those of you who know us well, new comers or former Valley Isle enthusiasts that our specialty lies in delivering excellent massage.
We are also quite fond of wedding parties and throwing spa days for the bride and all of her bridesmaids. We can go to your private residence, your hotel, vacation rental on Maui or here on our world-class beach or the private healing vortex we have created after over 11 years of being here and literally thousands of massages offered at the Sugar Beach Resort in North Kihei.
POP UP YOGA!
That's what we're talking about! Our latest fascination is with yoga, particularly Pop Up Yoga. What we learned last year after having to close down our Paia Yoga Studio in Paia is that overhead was particularly problematic. So this new revolution of pop up yoga classes around the world is intriguing to the legacy of fantastic teachers who taught with us in Paia. These days, yoga is becoming so much more about the hype and the rock stars of the yoga world. People with money who perform in front of wanna be yogis and can afford expensive studio locations in the ever-increasing commercial property markets. What we want to be able to do is to continue to offer affordable classes to those who are hungry for the yoga teachings and the branches of yoga lineage that promote health, well-being, centeredness, balance, and of course, fit bodies. And yes, in that order.
So these days, its more about making a splash appearance on a gorgeous backdrop, as that is what maui does best! We do gorgeous on Maui!

Our styles will vary between Vinyasa Flow, Ashatanga, Iyengar, Hatha, Kundalini and a host of other fun styles, like the latest SUP Yoga. For those of you who dont know, we are offering this now right at our Sugar Beach location on our very own beach!
